OOTD: Delicate Fabrics and Accessories

I love this flowy sheer high-low dress from Fashion Rush Clothing. I’m not sure if it can be called a paisley print, or a floral print, or what it is, but the pattern is funky. I love high-low dresses and skirts because I find them so figure-flattering. You get to be conservative in the back with a long length, and then show off some legs with the party in the front.

This delicate dress calls for other delicate accessories to make it complete. Best of all, with small, dainty accessories, you can layer items to make a bigger impact while still being understated! Yay for not having to make decisions on which pieces of jewelry to wear!

I added these sparkly gold sandals from Forever 21 to my outfit. From there, I added other gold accessories. Next was this Sophie Harper Pave V necklace, which came in my first Rocksbox set. Also from my first Rocksbox set are these gold Gorjana midi rings. The nature-inspired twists of the rings go really well with the pattern of the dress.

This outfit is done if you’ll be indoors all day. But I wore this outfit to lunch on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, so I needed to add on sunglasses (super-cheap standard gold frames from Forever 21) and a purse (this plain white zipper clutch, also from Forever 21). I like this clutch because it is so simple. The pebbled white material means I can easily clean it with a Lysol wipe. The white color is neutral so matches many daytime outfits. And it’s fairly large so although I can carry it comfortably, I can still fit all my crap in it.

Other options for accessories include more gold necklaces (like this giraffe one from J.Crew) or neutral wedges (try brown or beige to avoid taking away attention from the dress).
