Fall is here, which means it’s time to take the boat out of the water and start looking for fun weekend activities that occur on dry land.
Fall is my favorite season to visit the wineries! I love to visit the Temecula Valley wineries under pretty much any circumstances, including lightning and rain, but fall is the best. It’s still warm and sunny, but there’s less of the piercing hot sunlight. There’s a crisp breeze, the grapes are in harvest and the vibes are ideal.
This past weekend, I made my first-ever trip to Peltzer Winery. With 33 wineries in Temecula wine country, I’m still making my way to many of them!
Peltzer is one of the larger wineries, with a farm and vineyards on the land. They have a tasting room but no restaurant, so food trucks like Q’s Tacos and Devilicious Eatery come by. Right now, they also have three seasonal flavored sangrias!
Peltzer is also known for their collection of century-old tractors that were actually used in farm work. I don’t know much about tractors or farming, but I do know the collection is pretty cool and makes for great photo opps.
This long-sleeve blue floral dress is my favorite item in my closet right now. I’ve been wearing it to death. I just love the fun print, the fall colors and the flattering fit. It pairs great with wedges for late summer and these open-toe ankle booties for fall. I imagine some black ankle boots, with or without black tights, will also make it work for winter – we’ll see!
