Tweed is one of the oldest fabrics around, and it’s been a classic for a reason. The textile adds some sophistication to any item made with it. It’s work-appropriate, winter-ready and basically just kind of cool to touch!
This tweed long-sleeved dress from H&M really adds some youth to the fabric. The funky plain-black accents, the figure-flattering fit and the A-line skater skirt all make tweed perfect for the younger generations.
I decided to “funk” up the dress even more by adding edgy moto ankle booties from Payless and a black cropped bomber jacket from Charlotte Russe. With a jacket, it almost looks like the dress is a skirt instead. A whole new outfit with just the addition of a jacket!
I kept jewelry simple and in the dark / black theme with this black and pearl “Celebutante” bracelet from Ettika.
