Falkner is a winery in Temecula Wine Country that is always having fun events, and it’s always on the front of my mind. However, we had never made it down to this specific winery…until today.
After tasting the amazing liquor-less, rum-less mojito they make in the tasting room (Falkner Winery Luscious Lips white wine with mojito mix and fresh lime juice), we instantly signed up for the Crush Club wine club!
Since we were officially Falkner Winery family, it was time to head to Pinnacle Restaurant at Falkner Winery and see what the food was all about.
I can’t even put in words how delicious my meal was, so luckily I have pictures to show you.
We started with the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, served with goat cheese crumbles, dried cranberries, sliced almonds, hibiscus drizzle and a giant fried egg on top. It. Was. Amazing!
For my entree, I chose the Mediterranean Pasta with tomatoes, kalamata olives, zucchini, squash, basil, feta cheese and garlic lemon sauce. I was absolutely in heaven, with buttery, olive oily sauce dripping all over my chin and not caring whatsoever.
Sean wasn’t too stoked on his Mediterranean Chicken dish, but Trenton LOVED the Ahi Crunchy Salad – thinly sliced blackened Ahi on baby greens with cabbage, pickled ginger, crunchy wontons, black sesame seeds and Mandarin oranges.
I can’t wait to return and try the other dishes on the menu, while enjoying my wine mojito!
